What is the best way to get from storybook dining at Wilderness Lodge to Ft Wilderness for holiday sleigh ride?

Season’s greetings, Corinne! Welcome to planDisney!

It may be a little early to break out the wintertime salutations, but it looks like you’re planning a magical holiday visit to Walt Disney World, so it seemed appropriate. With all the special events—like Jollywood Nights and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party—and the resorts decked out in their holiday best, you’ve picked a fantastic time to visit Walt Disney World.

According to the My Disney Experience mobile app, the best way to get from Artist Point at Wilderness Lodge (home to Story Book Dining with Snow White) to Tri-Circle-D Ranch (home of the Holiday Sleigh Rides) involves a boat and bus ride. At the time I’m writing this, the app suggests walking from Artist Point to the Wilderness Lodge Boat Dock (red launch) and then taking the water taxi to Fort Wilderness Settlement Watercraft Dock and Settlement Trading Post. From the Settlement Trading Post, you’ll then head to the bus stop, where you can take the resort’s internal bus system to Tri-Circle-D Ranch.

Transportation schedules are subject to change, so I would suggest double-checking your route options closer to the date in question. You can look up directions on your own mobile device with the My Disney Experience app or talk to a helpful Cast Member at Wilderness Lodge before you depart. The quickest and most direct option, though, is often a Minnie Van, which can be booked through the Lyft app.

Corinne, I hope this information helps you navigate your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation successfully. Pop right back if you have any more questions. Your planDisney pals are here to help!

    Magical travels!
