Where is best to stay for the princess obsessed daughter? Curious if weather is warm enough for pools in early May?

Hello, Whitney! I extend a warm royal welcome to you from the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Please join me as we find a castle for your princess to call "home" at the Walt Disney World Resort!

As I read your question, Whitney, one Resort hotel instantly popped into my mind. I think your little girl would absolutely love the Royal Guest Rooms at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside! The rooms were graciously appointed by Princess Tiana to welcome her regal friends when they visit her favorite Resort hotel. The decor is quite elegant, with deep purple and blue colors and curved furniture (but still rugged enough for a little princess to run around in!). Plus, you'll find sweet touches like portraits of the Disney Princesses on the walls, a note from Tiana herself, and magical headboards you must see to believe!

Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside is a short bus trip to the Magic Kingdom Park, while a fun boat ride will whisk you to shopping and dining at Disney Springs.

Whitney, as a lifelong Floridian, trust me when I say that not only is May warm enough to swim, you'll probably find it downright hot! And as a Guest of Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, you'd also be able to check out the pool at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter as well!

I hope this helps you plan a magical adventure for your little princess, Whitney. Please do come see us again if you have any more questions!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
