What's the best way to start planning a trip for 12 people?

    Candice:

Thanks for coming to the Mom's Panel!

I've planned two Magical Gatherings in the last 12 months, and enjoyed every minute of it--the trips AND the planning!

My first recommendation: order the FREE Disney Vacation Planning DVD. Click here to fill out the online request or click on the link on most pages of the www.disneyworld.com website!

In the meantime, gather as a group and decide what time of year everyone can go, what budget with which you are working, and how you will split the group for accommodations (two groups of six....three groups of four....grandma sleeps in Aunt Margie's room, etc.).

Then visit www.disneyworld.com and check into their In-Depth Planning Topics. Here you can get a taste of what WDW has to offer. Couple this with the advice on the video and you'll have a more comprehensive idea of what the group would enjoy. Once you know who's going, when you're going, and at what resort you're staying, give the Magical Gathering experts a call at (407) 934-7639. They'll walk you through making your reservations and providing ideas for experiences that only larger groups qualify for!

    Wishing you a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
