Hi Yolanda,
Welcome to planDisney! I'm always so happy to help someone from my native state with a question about a visit to Walt Disney World.
To get from the
All-Star Sports resort to Epcot using the
complimentary Disney transportation, you will catch a bus in front of Stadium Hall, the main lobby of the resort. At the boarding area for Epcot, you will see a separate line for wheelchairs and mobility-assistance devices, including Electronic Conveyance Vehicles (ECVs). Join that line with your party. When the bus arrives, the driver will help those with mobility devices get on board and settled first before opening the bus for the guests in the main queue.
You can wheel directly onto the bus and remain seated in your wheelchair or ECV for the journey to Epcot. Please note that each bus can hold a maximum of two ECVs at a time, so you might have to wait for the next bus if there are several guests with mobility devices at once.
After an accident a few years ago, I needed an ECV for my Walt Disney World visits, and I always found that the bus drivers made the transition onto and off the bus easy and comfortable.
The boarding procedure will be the same from All-Star Sports to any of the theme parks or to
Disney Springs. And if you decide to hop from Epcot to Hollywood Studios, you can ride your scooter directly onto the Skyliner. Or you can do the same with the monorail from Epcot to Magic Kingdom.
Thanks for stopping by with your question, Yolanda. Please let us know if we can help in any other way as your vacation nears.
Enjoy,
Wilma
