Where's the best spot to watch the parade and castle show during the Christmas party. How do I get reserved spots.

Season's Greetings, Josh! A trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth during the holiday season is extra festive! From the decorations at the theme parks and Disney Resort hotels to all of the seasonal snacks, festivals, and entertainment, planning a jolly holiday is easy when you visit during the most wonderful time of the year!

Josh, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is my favorite holiday extra at the Walt Disney World Resort! During the party, guests will be delighted with special holiday entertainment including Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, which rolls twice each party night - once at 8:30 PM and again at 11 PM. If you're looking for a prime viewing spot, my favorite place to catch it is on Main Street, U.S.A. where I can see the parade with the picturesque backdrop of Cinderella Castle behind it! Watching the dancing reindeer, marching toy soldiers, and Santa Claus himself parade down this iconic street just makes me feel extra jolly! As another option, I have also caught the parade in Frontierland near the Country Bear Musical Jamboree, which tends to attract a lighter crowd. I'll also share that in my experience, the later parade is less attended than the first, making it easier to walk up just before it arrives and get a great spot!

At 10 PM on party nights, Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show will take the skies to delight guests of all ages! Set to popular holiday tunes, these festive fireworks will bring tidings of comfort and joy from many locations throughout Magic Kingdom Park, including Liberty Square, Fantasyland, and Tomorrowland. Of course, the most iconic (and my favorite) place to catch the show is facing Cinderella Castle so you can also see the projections on the castle and up and down the buildings on Main Street, U.S.A. You might even catch some snowfall during the show to make it even more magical!

Josh, if you're looking for a reserved viewing area for the fireworks, there are two options:
Josh, I hope this helps and I hope you find the perfect place to watch all of the holiday entertainment at the Christmas Party this year! If you have any other planning questions, come back to planDisney and let us know! We're ho-ho-hoping you have the best vacation ever!

    See you real soon,
