What is the best way to spend New Year's Eve at Walt Disney World with a children ages 10 and 14?

    Hello Karen!

New Year's Eve at the Walt Disney World Resort is completely amazing.  I can't think of a better way to ring in the New Year!  The minute I read your question, I immediately thought about the New Year's Eve Party at DisneyQuest Indoor Interactive Theme Park.  I think you and your kids would enjoy the gaming and countdown.  Afterwards, head on out to the Downtown Disney area and catch even more excitement. Should you prefer to be in a Disney Park for New Year's Eve, get there early and don't leave!  Be sure to secure FastPasses early in the morning and plan to stay the day.  Most likely, the parks will reach capacity. This means that if you leave, you would not be allowed back in.  All major parks, except for Disney's Animal Kingdom Park, will have spectacular late night firework displays.  Keep an eye on the Walt Disney World website for more information as it becomes available.

Thanks for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I wish you a truly magical vacation!
