When are the best special events at Disneyland in Orlando?

How ya doin', Deborah and welcome to planDisney!

If you're looking for something special in the Sunshine State, the Walt Disney World Resort is just bursting at the seams with experiences for kids from 1 to 92. But no other occasion beats the most wonderful time of the year at The Most Magical Place on Earth. If you're thinking about sheer volume, the holidays, which typically start rolling out in November at the Walt Disney World Resort, would make Santa and his elves step up their game at the North Pole.

Magic Kingdom Park feels like the heart of the celebration and is absolutely decked out in holiday finery and flair. It's the home of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, and special doesn't even begin to cover it. This ticketed event typically features its own fireworks display, shows, parade, and much more. Grab your loved ones, your matching pajamas, some cookies, and have a ball!

Over at Disney's Hollywood Studios, you'll really feel the seasonal razzle dazzle by purchasing a ticket to Disney Jollywood Nights. Don your gayest apparel and check out Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!, the holiday-exclusive nighttime spectacular, or Disney Holidays in Hollywood, hosted by none other than Kermit and Miss Piggy.

EPCOT continues to be a home of cultural celebration with the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. Cuisines and traditions from all over the world are lauded through storytellers and booths serving up the most delicious treats you could ever imagine. And don't forget the acclaimed Candlelight Processional! The Greatest Story Ever Told, presented to you by the greatest stars of today, alongside a beautiful choir.

Pro-Tip: Fill your evening with extra Christmas cheer by booking the Candlelight Dinner Package. A nice meal and guaranteed seating for the show will make a lovely addition to your trip.

Deborah, whether it's Winter, Spring, Summer, or Fall, a Disney vacation is still the most magical of all. I hope my humble opinion helps you make the best decision for your travel plans.

    Happy planning!
    Taylor
