Hi Pamela! Thanks for stopping by with your question about snacks at Walt Disney World Resort - one of my favorite subjects! While there's lots of information out there regarding the "best" snacks on the Disney Dining Plan, everyone's tastes are different. I'm sure if you asked the entire Moms Panel, we might all have different answers for what snacks are "can't miss" items when we visit the parks! That being said, I'm happy to share MY favorite snacks in each park. MAGIC KINGDOM: Nothing beats a Dole Whip from Aloha Isle in Adventureland....except maybe an Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich from the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor. Two warm chocolate-chip cookies served with your choice of hand-scooped ice cream? Sold. I'm also a fan of the "cake cups" at Cheshire Cafe! EPCOT: SO many choices all around the "World", but School Bread from Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe in the Norway section is amazing. Also, any treat from Karamell-Küche in Germany! HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS: Two words: Butterfinger Cupcake. I hear these can be found at the Trolley Car Cafe (Starbucks) on Hollywood Blvd, but have been called "Chocolate Peanut Butter Crunch Cupcakes" in the display cases. ANIMAL KINGDOM: With all the sweet snacks I've listed, I'm going savory at Animal Kingdom. I'm a fan of the Chicken Fried Rice at Yak & Yeti Local Foods Cafe. I also adore the Jungle Juice Slush at the Harambe Popcorn Kiosk! My two favorite snacks can be found at lots of locations around the resort - Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bars can be found on almost every snack cart, and Chocolate-Dipped Mickey Rice Krispy Treats are in every bakery and several gift shops! I'm sure you'll find lots of favorites of your own when you visit Walt Disney World! Make sure to look for the Disney Dining Plan (DDP) icon to identify items that can be purchased with your snack entitlements. Have a magical day! - Diane W.
