What is the best snack for a hot afternoon?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Doug!

Your question sure is making me hungry! The perfect treat that first comes to mind is a Pineapple Dole Whip Float or Pineapple Dole Whip Cup from Aloha Isle located in Adventureland at Magic Kingdom Park. You can find more variations of this refreshing cold and fruity treat at Pineapple Lanai located within Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. My boys' favorite cool treat would be Mickey's Premium Ice Cream Bar found at several ice cream carts located within all Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks. If ice cream isn't for you, there are also frozen strawberry lemonade bars available at the ice cream carts.  For a brain freeze, try Goofy's Glacier from Goofy's Candy Company at Downtown Disney. You can also find frozen lemonade at various snack stands throughout the Walt Disney World Resort to help you cool down. I think I have included everything except the kitchen sink! WAIT, I forgot the Kitchen Sink - an enormous ice cream sundae you can find at Beaches & Cream Soda Shop at Disney's Beach Club Resort. The Kitchen Sink is the biggest ice cream sundae I have ever seen, and is large enough to share among at least four people! You can also find a smaller version, Mickey's Kitchen Sink Sundae, at Plaza Ice Cream Parlor right on Main Street, U.S.A. at Magic Kingdom Park. My son says Main Street ice cream tastes the best - I can't argue with that!

    Have a magical day, Doug!

Meet the Panelist: Rachel, Wisconsin

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
