Hi Samantha! How exciting for your family to be traveling to my favorite place with a new baby!
Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter is one of my favorite resort hotels. What I love most is that it feels very warm and welcoming, and to me it doesn't seem too large or overwhelming.
It has been my experience that while housekeeping will supply you with a Pack-n-Play, they do not have the newborn napper. I also do not believe that the Pack-n-Play that will be delivered to your room would work with your personal newborn napper. I think that if you really feel strongly about your sweet bundle of joy sleeping in the napper, then I would recommend bringing your Pack-n-Play with the napper attachment. I always think about safety and I wouldn’t want an unsafe situation if you tried to attach a napper and it wasn’t a secure fit.
I will however say from personal experience that traveling with a baby means traveling with A LOT of extra things! It is my opinion that a small baby would be just fine sleeping in the regular Pack-n-Play! I have been traveling to the Walt Disney World Resort since all of my children were just little babies and we have always had them sleeping in the Pack-n-Play. I think that as long as you do the same things while on vacation that you would normally do at home, your baby will sleep well (or as well as any two month old will sleep!) Be sure to utilize the
Baby Care Centers located within all four theme parks! Someone was really looking out for mom's when they created these!
I hope that this family vacation is filled with many magical memories! Make sure to take a picture of your little one with Mickey Mouse! That picture will be cherished for a lifetime!
