Which is the best ship to travel when you are a family of four with 2 children ages 13 and 10 and still have privacy?

    Welcome to planDisney Faith!

I am happy to tell you that all of the ships in the Disney Cruise Line fleet are family friendly. Many of the staterooms offer a curtain that can divide the room, so your kids can sleep in and not be disturbed if lights turn on by the main bed. Each stateroom is configured a bit differently, so do some homework when deciding on your room category

Another nice feature that most rooms will have is the split bathroom. One bathroom will have a toilet and sink, and a second bathroom has a tub/shower and sink. This is really helpful on days like Castaway Cay when everyone comes back a bit sandy!

If you want real "privacy" you might want to look into booking 2 connecting rooms. There will be a door that you can close between the rooms, but have full access. Unless you book a suite, the majority of staterooms are between 169 square feet and 246 square feet. While a nice size for a cruise ship, this is certainly not a place for total privacy or quiet with a family of 4!

Whatever room you decide on, you are going to have an amazing Stateroom Host who will attend to your stateroom twice a day, keeping it tidy with fresh towels, making your beds, and always a few surprises!

I hope you find a MAGICal stateroom for your DREAM cruise and that all your WISHes come true!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
