Disney Resorts Collection hotel have the distinct advantage of being able to book for their entire length of stay (up to 10 days) 60 days in advance of their check-in date.
Having recently booked a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Magic Kingdom Park appointment for my daughter, here's the reality of the situation. There are often more knights and princesses desiring royal transformations than there are available appointments. Due to the Disney Resorts Collection hotel advantage, appointments can be fully booked over 60 days in advance.
My best tip for securing a coveted Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Magic Kingdom Park appointment is to be logged into your My Disney Experience account on the reservation page by midnight at least 60 days in advance, ready to click and book as soon as your date(s) appear for selection. You can select a date range, which is especially helpful if you're staying at a Disney Resort hotel and want to check availability for your entire length of stay. If you see something, reserve something, even if it doesn't align with your current theme park reservations or plans. Valid admission, a
theme park reservation for Magic Kingdom Park, and a
method of entry (MagicBand, MagicBand+, Disney MagicMobile pass, or admission card) are required to redeem a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Magic Kingdom Park reservation, but they are not required to make a reservation.
If there are no available times during your selected date range, Katie, know that you've done nothing wrong. There's always a chance availability will open up closer to your travel dates. You can also do an online search for royal makeovers in the Orlando area and discover a whole new world of possibilities.
