Where's the best seat in all of Disney for NYE fireworks? Also, is there any must go to restaurant for this special day?

    Hi Adrienne.

Wow! Lucky you! What an amazing way to ring in the New Year - at The Happiest Place On Earth!

I'd have to say that one of the very best places you could possibly be on New Year's Eve to have the most spectacular view of the amazing New Year's Eve Fireworks display would be from a tower, theme-park view balcony in Disney's Contemporary Resort should you be able to stay there, from the rooftop observation deck on the 15th Floor of the Contemporary or from inside the California Grill restaurant.

If you'd rather be in a park during the fireworks, enjoying some extended hours, Magic Kingdom is the place to be. You'll want to arrive early in the day and stay as the park will definitely reach its capacity early in the day and admittance will close. Magic kingdom generally shows at least 2 fireworks displays on New Year's Eve, one mid-evening and one just prior to midnight with it's grand finale being at midnight.

For the most current details on special New Year's Eve offerings at dining locations around Walt Disney World, including special experiences with DJs, dance parties and four-course dining experiences, call (407) WDW-DINE precisely 180 days prior to December 31st and make your reservation early!

Wishing you a Magical time as you celebrate a New Year at Walt Disney World Adrienne!
