What is the best way to save a spot at the parades is this even allowed??

Hi Melissa! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

The parades at the Walt Disney World Resort are hands down the best parades that I have ever seen! It is my belief that there is no other place that can put on these amazing parades and other entertainment options like Disney can. I will never forget the look on my kids faces when they saw the Main Street Electrical Parade. They just sat there in awe and amazement while they watched the parade floats pass by. Another favorite is the Move It! Shake It! Dance & Play It! Street Party…my kids LOVE being able to actually dance in the parade.

There really isn’t any way to actually save a spot at the parades and it really isn’t allowed. I recommend that your whole party tries to find a spot early and then you all can just camp out there together. Typically I try to line up with my family around 45 minutes prior to a parade and I come loaded with snacks and drinks for the kids. I also bring with me “busy bags” with little activities in them to keep the kids occupied. We try to play games like “I Spy” and you also may see some Cast Members around with Hula Hoops and things for kids to play with.

I hope that you have an Unforgettable time!
