What is the best way to save on a food budget while staying at a WDW resort?

    Hi Clinton,

Thank you for visiting us today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Let me try to help you with your question today.

A Disney vacation can take a toll on our budgets, so I always look for ways to save Disney Dollars. And Mickey tries to help with Special Offers throughout the year, including discounts on rooms, Theme Park Tickets or vacation packages, or discounted or even free Dining Plans.

The Dining Plans are a great way to prepay for your meals and not have to worry about budgets. We enjoy having family dinners and exploring new offerings on every vacation. That's why the Disney Dining Plan works best for us. All plans at this time include two Snacks, which we use mostly for breakfast pastries. We then purchase a half gallon of milk and juice, and take advantage of the in-room coffeemakers. We also enjoy a late brunch, specially at a buffet venue, like Chef Mickey's. Many Guests also have groceries delivered to their Resort Hotel, from places like Garden Grocer or Amazon Prime Now or AmazonFresh.

One last tip: don't forget you can make FastPass+ selections 30 days in advance. Unless you are staying at select hotels, which allows you to make them up to 60 days before your Check-In. See you real soon!
