Welcome to planDisney, Vicki!
Thanks for stopping by with a planning question about your upcoming Disney trip. You're in the final countdown now - are you getting excited? Let's take a look at how to travel within
Walt Disney World Resort.
There is often more than one way to travel to the different theme parks but
Animal Kingdom's in a Kingdom of its own. Guests traveling here must either use the complimentary
Disney Bus Transportation, Minnie Van, personal vehicle or third-party rideshare service.
When heading to Animal Kingdom, you'll need to go to your closest bus stop at
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. In order, the stops are The Grandstand, The Carousel, The Paddock, Congress Park and finally, The Springs. You can check the screen at the bus stop for the arrival time and then climb aboard the bus heading to Animal Kingdom.
If you prefer arriving using the
Minnie Van Service Connected by Lyft, you can book a ride directly through the Lyft app. The Minnie Van will drop you off at the Bus stop, and then it's a short stroll to the main entrance.
While visiting Animal Kingdom, be sure to spend some time exploring Pandora; the waterfalls are beautiful! You'll see many
Disney Photopass photographers stationed around to help capture the magic - you might even spot a banshee in your photos!
I hope this helps with your planning, Vicki. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to
reach out!
Sivako,
