What is the best route to get to the Grand Floridian from MK, Epcot or POP. Not sure yet where we'll be leaving from. Also I made t-shirts for this dinner (w/cindy,stepmom/sisters, etc) is that ok to wear or do we need something more formal? Thanks!

    Hi Dawn,

I think the t-shirts will be fine for the dinner.

The Grand Floridian Resort is on the monorail.  From the Magic Kingdom you will want to take either the monorail or the resort boats.  When taking the monorail you will have 3 stops before reaching the resort, but the monorail is overall pretty quick.  If you are able to get right onto a boat from the Magic Kingdom you might be able to get there a little faster since it is the first stop.

From Epcot, take the monorail to the Transportation and Ticket Center and then transfer to the resort monorail.  The Grand Floridian will be the second stop from that station.  You can also take a bus directly to the resort, but I think that would be longer.

From Pop Century, take a bus to the Magic Kingdom and then take a boat or the resort monorail to the Grand Floridian.

I would plan for about 25 minutes from either park and up to 50 minutes from Pop Century.

    Enjoy your special dinner.
