    Best route to Contemporary from Wilderness Lodge Resort?  We have dinner reservations at 8:00 pm and want to finish our day watching fireworks from the 4th floor terrace at the Contemporary.

    Hi Charles,

    Sounds like you have a really fun evening planned! The quickest way to get to the Contemporary Resort from the Wilderness Lodge is by taking a blue flag motor launch.  This launch runs between the Contemporary Resort, Wilderness Lodge and Ft. Wilderness. There are usually two blue flag launches that run in opposite directions. For example, if both launches arrive at the Wilderness Lodge dock at the same time, one may head directly to the Contemporary first and then continue to Ft. Wilderness.  The other would head to Ft. Wilderness first before making its way to the Contemporary.  The boat captain will announce  their next stop before you board.  It is less than a 10 minute trip from Ft. Wilderness if you take the launch that goes directly to the Contemporary Resort.

    I'm not sure who will be traveling in your party, but these are pretty small launches. All strollers and wheelchairs will have to be folded prior to boarding and they are too small to accommodate ECVs.
