What are the best rooms to stay in at the Wilderness Lodge?

    Hi Suma,

I stay at Disney's Wilderness Lodge often and I'd be happy to share my perspective on your question.

If you want to see all that is going on at the main pool at this resort, request a courtyard view.  Personally, I prefer a woods view room at the end of either of the two main wings in the main lodge.  These offer stunning views of Bay Lake and Fire Rock Geyser.  I love to watch the sun rise from the balconies at these rooms.  If you'd rather have a view of the breath-taking lobby, ask for a room there.  Staying in these rooms will save you the most steps if you plan to take the Disney buses often.

It would be hard to find a room with an unpleasant view at this stunning and beautifully themed resort.  Wishing you an amazing vacation!

    Jill

PS.  The bear on the bottom of the totem pole in front of the Mercantile (the resort gift shop) goes by the name of Humphrey.  Big time fans of the Wilderness Lodge believe that if you rub his nose at the beginning of your stay, your vacation is sure to be more magical!  You can never have too much Disney magic!
