What is the best room requests to make at BCV? We're worried that a partial view of Illuminations or being close the EPCOT walkway might mean being too far from the main building and Stormalong Bay.

    Hi Joel!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

The Beach Club Villas is my second favorite Disney Deluxe Villa Resort.  It has a wonderful pool and a great location in terms of being on Crescent Lake between Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios.  However, the physical location of the Beach Club Villas in terms of its relationship to the Beach Club and the surrounding area leaves a little to be desired.  Basically the Beach Club Villas is located between parking lots, roads, and canals.

Rooms facing the pool offer a limited view of a small canal but are subject to traffic noise. There really aren't any rooms with a good, or even a partial, view of Illuminations.  However, southeast-facing rooms do provide both a scenic landscape in terms of woods and are relatively quiet. The research team at TouringPlans.com recommends going with odd-numbered rooms 229–251, 329–351, 429–451, and 529–551.  Touring Plans is the research team behind the tour book "The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World".  I'm a huge fan of their work and thus I recommend going with their recommendation!

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
