Hey there, Melissa!
It's a pleasure to see your new question! Steve Rogers is high on my list of favorite Avengers, and I love musical theater, so I think the latest show at the Hyperion Theater is a match made in superhero heaven!
Rogers: The Musical is taking the stage by storm this summer! There are three ways that you can view the show:
- Rogers: The Musical Premium Viewing Experience at the podium between Studio Catering Co. and the Hollywood Lounge. I recommend making this your first stop of the day as soon as you enter Disney California Adventure Park. Stay to the left when you enter the park, then turn left into Hollywood Land and join the queue. The Disneyland website states that your whole party needs to be with you at the time of purchase. The package is $29 per person (prices subject to change) and includes a souvenir lanyard, a themed popcorn bucket, soda, and kettle corn. When you return for the show you can relax in the lounge area, take pictures with an exclusive backdrop, and play games before you enter the theater. If you want to be front and center, this is the option I would pick!
- You can also join the complimentary virtual queue in the Disneyland Mobile App to reserve a spot at the show. On days that the show is running the virtual queue will open at 10:30 AM Pacific Time for the first two shows of the day, and then open again at 2:00 PM Pacific Time for the remaining shows that afternoon. Your show is automatically assigned, so if you want to see an afternoon show then don't join the 10:30 AM virtual queue. Once you've joined the queue the app will tell you when it's time to "Save the City" at the Hyperion Theater. Don't be late!
- Additional viewing for each performance will be made available to guests through a standby queue, when available. There's no guarantee that there will be space for standby, so if you want to see the show I recommend setting an alarm to remind you to join the virtual queue.
Rogers: The Musical usually runs Tuesday through Saturday. Make sure you keep an eye on the
entertainment calendar for any changes!
I'm not the only one who finds Captain America inspiring...the chefs at the Disneyland Resort felt pretty inspired, too!
There are some special snacks and treats themed to Cap's unique style, and that Red, White, and Blue Shake seems like the perfect way to chill out on a summer day.
I also loved this special peek behind the scenes of the show from the Disney Parks Blog!Melissa, I could do this all day! If you need any more help planning an epic adventure in the parks I hope you'll let me be your planning sidekick and
send me a message. I'm with you till the end of the line!
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
