What are the best rides for 3 yr olds?

    Hi there, Jennifer!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I can't wait for you and your little one to experience the magic of a Disneyland Resort vacation. My three year old son had the time of his life at Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park last month. This is such a wonderful age for children to really appreciate everything the Resort has to offer like attractions, parades, nighttime spectaculars, and especially the delicious snacks!

When it comes to attractions, there are really only a few that your three year old will not be able to experience. Many popular attractions do not have a height requirement, meaning they are able to be experienced by Guests of all ages. As a toddler, your child will also be tall enough to ride those attractions with a 32" height requirement like Mater's Junkyard Jamboree, Luigi's Rollickin' Roadsters, and Autopia. This last trip, my son was also excited to ride his very first roller coaster, Gadget's Go Coaster, in Mickey's Toontown of Disneyland Park which has a 35" height requirement.

I advise downloading the Disneyland app before your vacation to view attraction descriptions and their height requirements. When you are in the park you can even use this app to view wait times, locate Character meeting locations, and even book Disney FASTPASS selections with Disney MaxPass.

I hope this helps, and please feel free to return with any other questions. Have a magical day!
