What are some of the best rides for 11 year old girls in Walt Disney World?

    Hi there, Rebecca!

There are so many excellent rides for children of all ages at Walt Disney World! Each of the four Parks offers a variety of thrills and excitement, as well as mellow, sightseeing-type excursions.

Depending upon the 11-year-old's tastes, you might want to encourage her to hit some of the roller coasters and more adrenaline-oriented rides: Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (Magic Kingdom), Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith and Tower of Terror (Disney's Hollywood Studios), Expedition Everest (Disney's Animal Kingdom), and Mission: Space and Test Track (Epcot).

Participatory rides are great fun, too: Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin (Magic Kingdom) and Toy Story Midway Mania (Disney's Hollywood Studios) are immersive arcade-style games that challenge the rider's skill.

And there are rides that really hit riders with the WOW factor: Soarin' at Epcot is perhaps the best example of this.

Please feel free to drop me a line with some of the 11-year-old's likes and dislikes; I would happy to offer a more tailored set of rides just for her specifications.

    Have a wonderful trip!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
