What are the best restaurants for a 2-year old/young toddler?

The beauty of Walt Disney World is that every restaurant  there is welcoming to young children! (Exception is Victoria and Alberts).  Disney understands how children have a hard time sitting still for lengthy periods of time and have things available such as crayons for them to entertain themselves during a wait.  If you have very active children I always suggest you look for buffet style restaurants where you can get the food quickly and then leave when you are done.  Character dining is fun for this age as well.  Even if the characters are not at your table they seem to still entertain the others as they walk around a room.

All of the restaurants will have a child friendly menu with items such as macaroni and cheese and chicken nuggets offered.   They will all have high chairs and booster seats as well.  Try keeping simple snacks with you such as crackers that can help pass the time from when the food is ordered to when it arrives.

You can check out the various restaurants and menus by going to www.allears.net and type in MENUS in the search box.  You can also see a quick reference to Disney dining by clicking HERE.
