What are the best restaurants in Hollywood Studios?

Hi there, Kristen, and welcome to planDisney!

There’s something magical about stepping into Andy’s Backyard, dropping into the Hollywood Tower Hotel, visiting a galaxy far, far away, and picnicking with Mickey and Minnie Mouse. You can have all of these experiences and eat to your heart’s content at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. I am more than happy to help you decide which restaurants to prioritize on your next trip.

To be totally transparent, I usually snack my way around this movie-inspired theme park. However, these are some of my Disney’s Hollywood Studios restaurant recommendations:

Hollywood Brown Derby: While I haven’t experienced this restaurant for myself, my friends (and complete strangers on the Internet) have been raving about it for years. You’ll be transported to the Golden Age of Hollywood and taste dishes that are a modern take on American classics.

Hollywood & Vine: This is one of my go-to character dining experiences at Walt Disney World Resort. It is a buffet-style restaurant where you can meet Minnie Mouse and her friends for lunch and dinner. What’s super cool about this restaurant is that its theming changes throughout the year. My family’s favorite time to visit is for Minnie’s Halloween Dine during spooky season.

Roundup Rodeo BBQ: Rounding out my top picks is the newest restaurant in the theme park. I can’t wait to return to this playful location. You’ll be surrounded by larger-than-life toys and participate in fun, interactive moments. And the barbecue and sides, especially those Prospector’s Homemade Cheddar Biscuits, are delectable!

AN EXTRA GEM: If you want a great place to just hang out with a drink in hand, you cannot miss Oga’s Cantina in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge (say “Bright Suns” to DJ R-3X) and BaseLine Tap House (the charcuterie is ah-mazing). And my all-time favorite snack at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is a Ronto Wrap from Ronto Roasters. It’s flavorful, and it will keep you full for your time in Batuu.

Kristen, if you have any other questions or need more suggestions, please don’t hesitate to revisit us here at planDisney. I’m all ears!

    Magic always,
