Greetings Heather. Good tidings I bring to you and your kin here at planDisney! I don't know about your part of the country, but where I live, the weather is getting colder and everyone is starting to be
s-mitten with the winter season! There is
snow better place to be during the holidays than The Most Magical Place on Earth, and, like your Disney crew, all I want for Christmas is......FOOD!
At Magic Kingdom, you'll discover the perfect holiday meal at
Liberty Tree Tavern! Oh my garland, the food here is SO GOOD! You'll enjoy a family-style holiday feast that includes pot roast, pork, and roasted turkey, accompanied by all the classic holiday fixings like macaroni and cheese and mashed potatoes. And if you need more convincing that this is the ideal holiday meal, the proof is in their famous Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake! Arrive hungry because this feast is all-you-care-to-enjoy!
At Hollywood Studios, you'll want to check out
Hollywood & Vine. You'll find Minnie Mouse and her pals dressing up for special occasions. Currently, she is greeting Guests in her spooky best, but during the holidays, you'll discover she's all dressed up for Holiday Dine!
EPCOT is the perfect destination for holiday foods! While a reservation at
Biergarten Restaurant is always a great choice, I personally love to savor every delicious holiday bite at the
Festival of the Holidays. Oh my
holly jolly goodness, the foods are so flavorful! This festival allows you to taste your way around the globe, sampling holiday foods from different countries. There are more food items than you could possibly eat.
At Animal Kingdom, I recommend making a reservation at
Tusker House for delicious food and a fun experience with Donald Duck and his friends! No matter what restaurants you choose, I know you'll have the most merry time!
Heather, I know you only asked about the theme parks, but I have to share that one of the most beautiful Resort hotels during Christmas is the Wilderness Lodge. Enjoying a holiday dinner at the
Whispering Canyon Cafe is also a lot of fun! For other Resort hotels that deck the halls for the perfect background for pixie-dusted meals, also check out Disney's Grand Floridian,
Animal Kingdom Lodge, or Disney's Yacht Club.
Be sure to keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog, as we should start seeing announcements soon about special holiday events, meals, and Christmas treats throughout the entire Walt Disney World Resort. You'll find holiday
festivities around every corner of Walt Disney World, and I hope you have a
tree-mendous holiday! We love Christmastime around here, so please feel free to visit us again if you have any other questions.
Have yourself a merry little Christmas, Heather.
