What is the best restaurant for a filet steak. Husband's favorite - however he doesn't like anything on it - no mushrooms, sauces... just a real nice piece of meat. Not on dining plan - will be paying $. Thank you.

    Hi Chris!

I have two favorite restaurants for a good steak.  The first is Be Our Guest in the Magic Kingdom.  The grilled strip steak doesn't have any extras on it, just a plain ole good piece of meat.  It's tender and so flavorful.  My husband got the chicken and tried to convince me to trade.  No way!

My second favorite is Le Cellier in Canada at Epcot.  I just ate there for the first time last month after other Moms Panelists were telling me it's THE place to go for a steak.  They were not wrong!  There are several steaks to choose from.  I chose the "Le Cellier" Mushroom Filet Mignon.  Wow!  It comes on a bed of mushroom risotto, but there isn't anything on top other than the melted butter.  Oh yeah!  My husband got the pepper-crusted sirloin and he said it was outstanding.  We will definitely be going there again.

He can also customize a steak from any restaurant if he doesn't like what it comes with or what comes on top of it.  I'm a picky eater, so I usually have a very personalized order.

    Have a magical day!
