Hi, Ashley!
I'm glad to hear you're planning a vacation to the Disneyland Resort this holiday season! December is one of my favorite months to visit and enjoy all the theme parks have to offer that time of year. The seasonal decorations, events, merchandise, attractions and food items make The Happiest Place on Earth even more delightful!
You will find many different meal offerings all around the resort on Christmas Day at table-service and quick-service restaurants and even at snack locations. The specific menus for this holiday season haven’t been released yet, but on Dec. 24-25 of last year, Blue Bayou offered horseradish-crusted prime rib with Yorkshire pudding, creamed spinach and pomegranate jus; Café Orleans featured flat iron steak with bone marrow demi-glaze, garlic mashed potatoes and acorn squash; and Carnation Café served slow-roasted turkey with bourbon gravy, mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, cranberry orange relish and a roll. Dining locations like French Market, Village Haus, Red Rocket’s Pizza Port and Rancho del Zocalo also served special holiday items throughout the entire season. At Disney California Adventure Park, Wine Country Trattoria offered a special lamb dish with a World of Color dining option on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and Carthay Circle Restaurant (my top pick for an elegant meal) featured a special holiday menu the entire week leading up to Christmas.
I do recommend you make reservations at the restaurant of your choice as soon as possible within the allowed window so you can be sure to have the best pick of locations and times. Go online or call Disney Dining at (714) 781-DINE (3463) up to 60 days in advance to secure your reservation.
I hope this helps, Ashley. Please write back with any other questions you have as your pixie-dusted planning continues!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
