What is the best restaurant, for dinner, to celebrate my son's 3rd birthday?

    Hello Evelyn,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for your question! As a mom to a little guy who will be turning 3 at his next birthday, I can tell you that there is no shortage of great restaurants to celebrate your little man’s big day.

I would recommend a character meal for your son’s birthday dinner. First, I would recommend Chef Mickey’s at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. The variety of the food options at Chef Mickey’s are sure to please your little one, and it’s pretty amazing to be able to meet the “Fab 5” (Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy and Pluto) without having to wait in line.

My second recommendation would be The Garden Grill, located in The Land at Epcot. The character interaction has been amazing every time we’ve dined there (due, in no small part I’m sure to Chip ’n Dale’s mischievous behaviour!) and I tend to prefer family-style dining with my little one.

Please note that for either of these Character Dining experiences, character availability is subject to change without notice. Don't forget that you can make your dining reservations up to 180 days prior to the date on which you'd like to dine or 180 days prior to your Resort Arrival Date.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and visit us if you have any other questions. And happy birthday in advance to your son!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
