Hi Becky,
Fireworks are a lovely way to end a magical day at Walt Disney World Resort. It will be easier to find a restaurant in Epcot that will afford you a view of
Illuminations: Reflections of Earth than it will be to identify a restaurant from which you can see
Happily Ever After, but I'd be happy to make suggestions for you in both parks.
There are a variety of restaurants in Epcot that offer Guests seating that faces World Showcase Lagoon. My favorite are
Rose & Crown Dining Room in the United Kingdom Pavilion,
Spice Road Table in the Morocco Pavilion and
La Hacienda de San Angel in the Mexico Pavilion. Before you make your advance dining reservation up to 180 days prior to your arrival at Walt Disney World Resort, check to verify that Illuminations will be performed at 9 p.m. as it is most nights. If that is the case, I suggest you book your reservation for 8:15 p.m. and arrive a little early. Let the server know you are willing to wait for a table with a view of World Showcase Lagoon.
Very few restaurants in Magic Kingdom Park offer a view of Cinderella Castle. However, my favorite would be The Plaza Restaurant. If you ask to sit near the windows, you will get a partial view of Happily Ever After. In general, though, you'd be better off enjoying dinner and then heading out to the hub in front of Cinderella Castle to catch the full effects of the show.
Sending best wishes and pixie dust,
Jill
