Hey there, Darlene and welcome to planDisney!
The Walt Disney World Resort goes above and beyond to make magic that's inclusive for everyone. Each Disney Resort hotel offers
accommodations for Guests with disabilities. One of my favorite travel companions is my mom and she has to use a scooter for her mobility issues. We've used every mode of transportation offered while on property at The Walt Disney World Resort and every bus, boat, Skyliner gondola and monorail was accessible to her.
Disney's Pop Century Resort is a great trip down memory lane as you explore pop culture of decades past. It has both bus transportation to Disney's Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom Park and the
Disney Skyliner to Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT. We love relaxing at one of the three pools on site but our favorite is the Hippy Dippy Pool because it's so groovy baby!
We enjoyed our experience at
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort as well. It was a huge property but the buses made drop offs at each individual section which made it easy for my mom to manage. This resort is actually the hub for Disney Skyliner transportation to Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT.
My mom and I were able to book a stay at
Disney's Riviera Resort. It was stunning. It's the last stop on the Disney Skyliner before EPCOT which makes it easy to visit EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival.
Darlene, every hotel in the
Disney Resort Collection is more than able to be a beautiful destination for all who visit. The ones I've named are just a fraction of the magic that's calling everyone and every ability. I'm glad you're getting to experience it too.
Happy planning!
Taylor
