which is the best resort to stay at with my 18 son and 21 year old daughter. Last family trip before my son goes off to college.

    Hi Debra,

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. And hello to a fellow NJ Disney fan!

How great that you’re planning a trip to Walt Disney World with your daughter and son! Our son just went off to college this year, and we loved having a Disney vacation last spring before his new adventure.

I think “best” is different for every guest, but let me share some ideas. Personally, from my experience with my own 18 year old, I would suggest one of the Magic Kingdom Resort area hotels: Disney's Polynesian Village ResortDisney's Contemporary Resort, or Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. First, the Monorail System makes it easy to get around to the different area resorts to take advantage of more to see and more to do. Second, the Epcot Monorail is an easy connection. Also, should the Contemporary be your choice, being able to walk to Magic Kingdom Park is a fun plus.

Another personal favorite is Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa with its walkability to Disney Springs and all the shopping, dining, and entertainment to enjoy there.

No matter which resort you choose, Debra, you're sure to enjoy a memorable stay with your daughter and son.

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
