    What is the best Resort to stay in foe an 8 year old boy? What parks and activities are good for his age?

    One of the best parts of any Walt Disney World Resort vacation is choosing where to stay and where to play! Here are a few suggestions for your family: 

    I have a son about that same age, and he loves anything Star Wars. At Disney's Hollywood Studios, your son can learn the ways of the Force at Jedi Training Academy or hop aboard a Starspeeder 1000 for a galactic adventure at Star Tours – The Adventures Continue. He can even build his own lightsaber at Tatooine Traders. Our son enjoys staying at Disney's Contemporary Resort, where the Monorail zooms right through the building.

    If your son has a pirate side, then a stay in a pirate-themed room at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort is a must! Your young buccaneer can sail for treasure on daily Pirate Adventure Cruises available from this resort. At the Magic Kingdom, your son is sure to discover hidden treasures at A Pirate's Adventure ~ Treasures of the Seven Seas or be transformed into a swashbuckling mate at The Pirates League. Maybe he'll take part in Captain Jack Sparrow's Pirate Tutorial before a journey on Pirates of the Caribbean. 

    Disney's All-Star Sports Resort is the perfect choice for a sports fan. From themed rooms to pools, it is sure to be a hit! You may even be able to catch the Atlanta Braves Spring Training or an AAU Event at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. Dinner at the ESPN Club would be a great way to kick off your stay.
