What is the best resort to stay in for a family with a 1 and 3 year old? We are thinking of staying in a moderate or deluxe resort.

Hi Tara!  Since your children are quite small I would presume you will want to spend a great deal of time at the Magic Kingdom.  There are four great resorts located close to this theme park; Grand Floridian, Polynesian, Contemporary, and Wilderness Lodge.  The first three are located on the monorail system making it very easy to get to and from the Magic Kingdom.  Wilderness Lodge is not on the monorail but you can take a boat to the park and it offers a bit more seclusion from the hustle and bustle of many of the other resorts.  You can't go wrong with any of these locations!

In the moderate range I enjoy Port Orleans but many families do like Caribbean Beach.  The location of the moderate resorts is not quite as close but there will be buses to each park.  They all have great pools but the deluxe locations have more themeing and more amenities overall then the moderates.  You can click HERE to see the descriptions of each resort and even compare them and what they have to offer.
