What is the best resort to stay in for the Christmas season? We are planning on going right before Thanksgiving. It is also my husband's birthday and I want it to be super special!

The holidays are so amazingly magical at WDW, and the resorts are most certainly dressed in their finest.  My two favorite resorts during the holidays are the Grand Floridian and the Wilderness Lodge.  The Grand Floridian is the flagship resort at WDW and will be decorated in Victorian elegance.  The lobby will not only have a splendid tree, but also a life size gingerbread house.  The lobby is often filled with carolers and live music; the grounds are also even decorated with hundreds of poinsettias.  If you do a Google image search for Grand Floridian Christmas decorations you'll be able to see many of them.

The Wilderness Lodge is equally grand during the holidays, but it has a warmth and charm all its own with the lodge feel.  It is so easy to enjoy sipping a cup of hot cocoa in front of one of the lobby fireplaces (one is sort of hidden and overlooks the lobby).  And again, you can do a Google image search for Wilderness Lodge Christmas decorations.  I think a picture is worth a thousand words!

I think either place will be a magical place to celebrate your husband's birthday.
