Best resort pool? Looking for a pool with water play area for my 3 and 7 year old boys. Which is the BEST?

    Hi Carol,

Thanks for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  In order to help you narrow down your choices, here is a list of my favourite pools at Walt Disney World Resort.

First in the Deluxe Resort Category, my absolute favourite pool at Walt Disney World Resort is Stormalong Bay at Disney's Beach Club Resort.  This sand bottom pool features a giant shipwreck, waterslide and a lazy river.  The "water park" covers 3 acres and includes a main pool and a smaller area, Shipwreck Pool for younger guests that even has a smaller scale waterslide.  When I am planning to spend more time at our Resort, we will always choose The Beach Club Resort, for the pool alone.

In the Moderate Resort Category, I would recommend The Lost City of Cibola Pool and The Dig Site at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort.  This pool features a waterslide, hot tub and kiddie pool as well.  There is a large playground area and even a volleyball court for guests to enjoy.

Finally, in the Value Resort Category, The Big Blue Pool at Disney's Art of Animation Resort is incredible.  There is a fantastic play area,  a zero entry pool with underwater speakers that is completely immersive.  You feel like you are a part of the film, Finding Nemo!  This is the largest pool on Walt Disney World Property, and is my daughter's favourite.

Please let us know if you have any other questions, we are always happy to help.
