    Which is the best resort for a mom and her 14 year old daughter to stay at?

    Hi there Susan!

    As the mom of a 14 year old daughter myself, I'm so happy to answer this question for you!
    There are so many fantastic resort options to suit every budget at Walt Disney World. I'll be happy to share with you my own daughter's "Top Picks" in each resort category.

    If you're traveling on a budget, consider Disney's Pop Century Resort. This vibrant and fun resort has a fantastic food court and fabulously themed buildings and grounds. With it's own, dedicated bus, getting to and from all of the parks is a breeze!

    At the moderate resort level, you can't beat the Port Orleans Resorts. Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside is a fantastic option if the thought of a themed, Royal Guest Room would suit yourself and your Princess! My daughter and I stayed in one of these great rooms together with another mom and daughter last December. It was so much fun! if you're not really "into" a themed room, then our top pick at this resort level would be the neighbouring and oh-so-quaint Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter. We just love the compact nature of this resort and it's single bus stop.

    Moving on up to Deluxe, my daughter's top pick is Disney's Contemporary Resort. There's just something extra magical about being right on the Resort Monorail line and a short walk to Magic Kingdom. Also just a monorail ride away is the perfect mother-daughter indulgence: A visit to Senses - A Disney Spa at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort.

    Take a look at these resort options online and see which one appeals most to your tastes and budget Susan. I hope you find just what you're looking for!
