What is the best resort for a family of 7 (grandparents, parents, and three children)?

    Hi Jenny,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. Visiting Walt Disney World with extended family can be so much fun! It is great to see different generations interacting and enjoying the magic in their own ways.

With a family of seven, I suggest that you consider a two-bedroom villa at a deluxe villa resort. A two-bedroom villa will not only give you two bedrooms, at least two bathrooms, and a living area, but you will also have a full kitchen and laundry within the villa. These comforts of home can make traveling with a large party very comfortable. While I enjoy all of the Disney Vacation Club resorts for different reasons, let me share a few of my favorites with you.

I really enjoy a stay at Disney's Old Key West Resort. The feel at this resort is peaceful and calm, and is just the place I would like to stay with a larger family. The theme of the Florida Keys is perfect to get me in a relaxed mood. Another lovely resort is Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village. At this resort, you can see exotic animals outside of nearly every window. The decor is rich and beautiful. This resort offers a truly unique experience. Finally, I enjoy the sleek and modern feel at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort. The location is also fantastic, with Magic Kingdom only a short walk away!

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Jenny. Have a great time planning your magical vacation, and please do let us know if you have any further questions.
