What would be the best resort for a family of 6 with the ages 8, 10, 12 and 14?

    Hi Alanna!

Thanks for visiting me with your great question!

Walt Disney World has several great Resort options for a large family like yours!
Those clever folks at Walt Disney World have even put together a summary page for you, right on the website, outlining Room Options for 5 guests or More.

If you're planning on spending most of your time outside the room, in the Parks and Water Parks, then I'd recommend you go for a Value or Moderate Resort Room and reserve two of them, adjoining. Keep one exterior door bolted from the inside, open the adjoining door inside, and voila! - you've got enough space for the whole family AND 2 full bathrooms! Two televisions probably can't hurt either! ;) For this option, I'd most highly recommend that you consider Disney's Art of Animation Resort's Little Mermaid Standard Room, or Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter, my favourite!

If you'd like something with a few more amenities like a kitchen or kitchenette, you may be interested in the charming and rustic Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort or a Family Suite at either Disney's All-Star Music Resort or Art of Animation Resort.

Take a peek at these options and see which one(s) suit your family best - and then come on back to visit me with your next questions! I'll be happy to assist you in deciding what is going to work best for you based on your family's wish list and needs!

I hope to hear from you again soon Alanna!
