Hi Billie,
Welcome to planDisney!
Well, the answer depends on the type of reservation you are trying to make! If making Disney Park Pass system or Lightning Lane reservations, you should be able to select the eligible Guests in your party when making those reservations. When trying to make
advanced dining reservations, you will probably need to make reservations in smaller groups (i.e. three groups of five).
If you are trying to make advanced dining reservations, I suggest that you enlist the help of a few other folks in your party who have
My Disney Experience accounts. Have each of those reservation leaders attempt to make dining reservations for the same time and location. When I have traveled with larger groups and needed to make several different dining reservations in the same meal period, we would try to keep each of those reservations within at least 15 minutes of each other. When we arrived to the restaurant, we would ask the Cast Members if we could be seated together. Although Cast Members could not guarantee it, they have always tried their best!
Billie, as you make those plans, be sure that plans are linking to your My Disney Experience account. If they do not automatically link, remember to try to use the confirmation number to
link reservations and purchases. If you search for dining reservations and find limited availability, keep checking. Cancelations do happen. I have also used an online Disney dining reservation finder tool. When that tool finds a reservation for the time range I have indicated, I typically have a 15 minute window to make that reservation. I also always keep checking myself and am always surprised by the random reservations that pop up when I am least expecting to see availability.
Stay focused and persistent! I am sending a little extra dining reservation pixie dust trusting that you will get the reservations you need!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
