What is the best way to purchase DIsney Dollars before our trip? What denominations do they come in? When you spend them at WDW, do you get regular money back as change? Thank you.

Hi Pam!  Love that I got your question today as I am the "queen" of Disney Dollars for the panel!  Every trip we make we play a Disney Dollar game where the family chooses an envelope at every meal hoping theirs contains the $10 while the others get the $1.  We have been using Disney Dollars since the beginning! The denominations are $10, $5, and $1.

You can purchase Disney Dollars via mail by calling and using a credit card. The number is 407-566-4985, option 5.  You are allowed to purchase $50 a day with a total maximum order of $650. There is a $15 shipping charge so it is best to order just what you might need to start the trip and then get the rest when you arrive so you don't pay for the shipping.  You can get Disney Dollars at the Guest Relations at the parks, front desks of the resorts, and also the concierges at the resorts.

You can spend them for just about anything during your vacation at Walt Disney World....souvenirs, food, etc.  You will receive regular money back in change unless you ask for Disney Dollars when possible.

Enjoy your trip and I hope you love the Disney Dollars as much as I do....just makes the trip more magical in all ways!
