Hiya, Rob! Welcome back to planDisney, and thanks for stopping by with another great question, my friend!
As a mom of a princess-loving daughter, some of my fondest Disney memories are from meeting the
Disney Princesses in the theme parks and at the Resorts. Nothing is sweeter than watching your little one, dressed in her princess best, become overjoyed and a little starstruck when meeting her royal role model. Seeing the magic in my daughter's eyes always brings a tear to mine, and I can't wait for you to see this same magic in your little one. Now, let's meet some princesses, shall we?!
My favorite way to meet the Disney Princesses is at the fabulous dining experiences, and while you can enjoy lunch and dinner here, breakfast at
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in EPCOT is one of my favorites. You can feast in a medieval castle as you are visited by several royal princess pals, and it is right out of a fairytale. If your little one is a fan of Cinderella (and I mean, who isn't?!), I definitely recommend dining at
Cinderella's Royal Table in Magic Kingdom Park. The dining room is so stunning, I gasp every time I walk in, and being greeted by Cinderella and dining in her castle really is so special for any princess. My absolute favorite character meal, however, is
Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, which is a boat ride away from Magic Kingdom. The food is absolutely delicious, and dining with Snow White, a couple of the Dwarfs and the Evil Queen inside an enchanted forest is pure magic. I recommend Advance Dining Reservations for all of these experiences.
When you're in Magic Kingdom Park, you and your princess must
Meet Princess Tiana a Visiting Princess (and more!) at Princess Fairytale Hall, and be sure to also
Meet Ariel at Her Grotto. She is under the sea, so she can be found flipping her fins and admiring her gadgets and gizmos. Afterward, I recommend catching the
Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade for a glimpse of all the princesses and much more. This parade is a must-do for my family and me every time we visit Magic Kingdom, and the way my daughter's face lights up when the princesses wave to her is priceless.
When you're at the theme parks, I recommend logging into your My Disney Experience app, tapping the location icon at the bottom of the screen, and using the blue drop-down arrow at the top to change the category from "Wait Times" to "Entertainment" and "Characters" to find where and when the princesses are meeting. My daughter and I love to
Meet Anna and Elsa at Royal Sommerhus and Mulan at the China Pavilion in EPCOT, just to name a few.
I hope this helps, Rob! A dream is a wish your heart makes, and I hope all of your little one's princess wishes come true. Please stop by again any time you have a question! See ya real soon!
Life is the bubbles,
Mandy
