Hi Douglas and welcome to planDisney!
December is my favorite time of year to visit Walt Disney World. Not only are the theme parks dripping with beautiful holiday decor, but it's also my wedding anniversary! We were married at EPCOT, so it's nice to visit at that time every year to reminisce about where it all began. Ok, enough of the sentimental and onto your question!
I love to use online resources to purchase basically anything, so the best and easiest way for purchasing theme park tickets, in my opinion, is online. The pricing depends on the exact dates you are wanting to visit, how many Guests are in your party, the ages of those Guests and which parks you would like to visit. You can easily price all of this out on the
ticket page of the Walt Disney World website.
You will also have upgrading options for Park Hopping and/or adding the Water Parks and Sports. If you would like to visit more than one park per day, you will want to add the Park Hopping option to your base tickets. This will allow you to "hop" over to a second park after 2:00 PM on each day of your ticket. The Water Park and Sports Option gives you additional admission to the
Disney Water Parks and admission to play miniature golf at either
Winter Summerland Miniature Golf or
Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf. I know you'll be visiting in December, but we have been known to splash around at the water parks in the Florida winters, especially since the water is heated.
If purchasing online isn't your thing, you can certainly
give a call to a friendly Cast Member who can help you through buying your Walt Disney World theme park tickets and guide you through which options are best for your vacation plans.
Please stop back by and visit if you have any additional vacation planning questions.
Have a magical day!
Leslie
