Hi Lynn! Thank you for contacting planDisney! We are always happy to help.
Coronado Springs is such a beautiful resort. There are so many different dining options and some are, in my opinion, the best on Walt Disney World property!
Three Bridges Bar & Grill at Villa del Lago is a beautiful open-air lounge with unique dining offerings and
Toledo - Tapas, Steak & Seafood offers breathtaking views of the resort and tasty small-plate options. Can you tell I'm a fan of the
Gran Destino Tower at the resort?
I'm also a big fan of visiting the resort around the time you are visiting. The parks are usually decorated in their fall best and one of my favorite events,
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at
Magic Kingdom Park, is usually running on select dates during this time. You get to dress up (with a
few guidelines of course), trick-or-treat throughout the park, and meet rare characters. Keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for any announcements related to this special event!
There are often
Special Offers available for those looking to visit the most magical place on earth! Right now, many of the offers are for spring and summer vacations as fall offers have not yet been announced. Keep an eye on the
Special Offers page and the
Disney Parks Blog for any announcements related to the timeframe you are looking to book. Historically, promotions for fall have been released mid-summer. Please note that special offers are not guaranteed.
Personally, once I know my dates, I usually book a vacation package immediately to guarantee myself a room and
theme park reservation availability. This requires a deposit at the time of booking if it is booked 31 days or more prior to your arrival date. Cancellation fees are not assessed (except for any fees assessed by third parties) and your deposit is refundable if you cancel or modify your reservation 30 days or more prior to your arrival. Therefore, if an offer is released at a later date, as long as it's 30 days or more prior to your arrival date, you are usually able to modify your reservation if a discount is offered, applicable, and available. This is of course up to you and how comfortable you are with the
terms and conditions on the Walt Disney World website. Please note that this information specifically refers to a
vacation package reserved through the Walt Disney World website, not stand-alone tickets or room-only reservations.
Lynn, I hope that you and your family have a wonderful visit to the Walt Disney World Resort at the spookiest time of year!
Beware of hitchhiking ghosts,
Matt
