What is the best way to get from Port Orleans Riverside to Fort Wilderness for the Hoop Dee Doo Review & Mickey's Backyard BBQ?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jennifer!

It sounds like you may be planning to have some fun at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort during your next Walt Disney World vacation. I love the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. Just reading your question made me hungry for fried chicken and strawberry shortcake.

Getting to Pioneer Hall (home of the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue) and Mickey's Backyard BBQ from Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside will be easy and fun. Start off your voyage by boarding a Magic Kingdom-bound bus at Riverside. When you arrive at Magic Kingdom Park, board the boat headed to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. Once you arrive at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, you are just a short walk away from Pioneer Hall. If you walk straight down the dock, you can't miss it. Mickey's Backyard BBQ is also nearby. It is right behind the Tri-Circle-D Ranch.

If you're looking for a more direct route between your home resort and Pioneer Hall, try the new Minnie Van service available at Walt Disney World Resort. Stop by the Bell Services desk at your home resort. They'll show you how to download Lyft to your mobile phone so you can summon a Minnie Van when you need one. While this service is not complimentary like the route described in the previous paragraph, it does offer a speedy route between your point of origin and final destination.

Sending best wishes and pixie dust,
    Jill
