What is the best way to get from Port Orleans French Quarter to breakfast at Wilderness Lodge? Is AAA the only place to get a discount on Disney World tickets? Thanks, going Nov 18-24th, 2018

    Hi Sharon,

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.

If y'all are headin' to Disney's Wilderness Lodge to round up some breakfast, I gots to wonder if you're thinkin' on breakfast at Whispering Canyon Cafe?

I had the great opportunity to enjoy a stay at Disney's Wilderness Lodge for my last trip to Walt Disney World, and I love the Resort. For a trip prior to that, I did have a great big breakfast with friends at Whispering Canyon Cafe. Can I just say that the Banana Bread French Toast is amazingly delicious?

As I see it, the best route from Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter to Disney's Wilderness Lodge is to take the Walt Disney World Bus Service from your Resort to Magic Kingdom Park, and then take the Walt Disney World Water Transportation from Magic Kingdom Park over to Disney's Wilderness Lodge. Another option could be to use the Minnie Van Service.

As for theme park ticket discounts, it can be a great idea to check with membership organizations such as AAA or employee perks clubs to see what discounts they offer. You can also check out the Walt Disney World Special Offers, Deals & Discounts.

Sharon, here's wishing you a wonderful Walt Disney World vacation.

    Enjoy your Disney!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
