Which are the best port adventures for a family with 4 yrs old child? Going on a Castaway Cay and Naussa Cruise in October 2011.

Ahoy, Martha! Your Disney Cruise will be here before you know it! How exciting!!! Sounds like you are looking to experience shore excursions that you can do together as a family. You can choose from a wide range of options at both Nassau and Castaway Cay. I will suggest a few of my favorites. If you've never visited Atlantis on Paradise Island, I would recommend participating in the Atlantis Aquaventure. This shore excursion will have your entire family experiencing a most amazing Aquaventure waterscape. We enjoyed several thrilling water slides, as well as, the rapids/lazy river. In addition, you'll be able to walk through The Dig, which is a replica of an actual archeological site. Alternatively, I suggest either the Blue Lagoon Island Beach Day or the Atlantis Beach Day. At Disney's private island, Castaway Cay, you will have several options to choose from. For example, you can rent bicycles and pedal your way around the Bahamian island paradise at your own leisure. The entire family can experience a Castaway Cay Island Cruise or enjoy a Glass Bottom Boat Scenic Voyage. My personal favorite with little ones is to simply relax at the family beach. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you. Enjoy a most magical Disney cruise this October! Bon Voyage!
