    What is the best way to get from POR to 'Ohanas for dinner without paying for a taxi? Thank you all!

    Hello Carla!  Thanks for asking your question here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  'Ohana happens to be my very favorite restaurant at Walt Disney World.  I eat there at least twice every vacation and am a pro at getting there from anywhere on property.

    From your resort, you will want to take the bus to Magic Kingdom.  Once you arrive at Magic Kingdom, you will hop off that bus and follow signs to the monorail.  You'll take the monorail designated to the resort line which will stop at Disney's Contemporary Resort and the Transportation and Ticketing Center before reaching Disney's Polynesian Village Resort where you'll get off.  You'll be let off on the second floor of the resort which is also where 'Ohana is located so it will be easy to spot once you get inside.  

    Riding the monorail is so much fun.  Be sure to have your camera out for some great shots from above! I hope this helps, if you have any other questions please do come back and ask.

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
