What is the best way to get from Pop Century to Polynesian Village Resort

Hello and welcome to planDisney, Amber. I see that you are vacationing at Walt Disney World later this year, you've got to be getting so excited! I love vacationing at the most magical place on earth that time of year, the theme parks are all dressed up in their holiday best. It's so fun and festive!

Amber, I'm hoping you have a dining reservation at one of the fantastic places to eat at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. They offer some of my favorite restaurants on property! I think you'll find that it is pretty easy getting from Disney's Pop Century Resort to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. What I would do is hop on a bus, from your resort, straight to Magic Kingdom Park. From there, you can either take a bus straight to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort or head up to the monorail and take that over to the Transportation & Ticket Center. Right now, because of refurbishment, you aren't able to ride the monorail all the way to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort but there is actually a walking path that connects the Transportation & Ticket Center over to the resort. It's a pretty short walk over there if you'd like to use the monorail option for something fun and different. Another option, if you don't want to have to take multiple forms of transportation, is to use a ride-share service. Ride-share services can pick you up right outside of your resort hotel's lobby and drop you off at the front doors of Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. I've used ride-share services all of Walt Disney World and I find them fairly affordable and very reliable. I especially like to use a ride-share service when going to a resort first thing in the morning for a breakfast reservation. Doing it this way, you don't have to leave nearly as early which makes for a much more relaxed morning. The two main ride-share companies are pretty comparable in pricing but I do like to check both apps first before hiring a car. Sometimes one will be running a promotion or I might have a coupon, so it's best to double-check.

I hope this helps you figure out how to get you to where you want to go during your vacation, Amber. If you have any other questions, please feel free to stop back by and ask me. I'm happy to help. If I don't hear from you again, I hope you have a really great vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
