    What is the best way to get from pop century to contemporary hotel? how much time should we allow? we are traveling with a 9 year old, 2 year old and 4 monthold. is driving from resort to resort easier?

    Hi Stacey!

    In my honest opinion, it if you are traveling from resort to resort I feel it is much easier to drive yourself if you have access to a car. You will be given a guest parking pass good for up to three hours, so parking is free, and it would be less time consuming than taking Disney transportation. Since resorts don't offer transportation directly to other resorts, you will have to transfer at one of the parks which can be time consuming and a bit of a hassle especially with small children.

    That said, the Contemporary is probably one of the easiest resorts to get to via Disney transportation. To get there from Pop Century you would have to take a bus to the Magic Kingdom. From the Magic Kingdom you have two options. You can either take the monorail from the park to the Contemporary, or you can take advantage of the pedestrian walkway that runs between the park and resort. The walk takes about ten minutes, and does cross an intersection at a traffic light. It is entirely safe, and a good option if you don't mind the short walk.
